We currently ship within New Zealand. Delivery availability may vary depending on your location and the service coverage of our third-party courier partners.

2. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on the delivery location of your order, including whether the address is classified as urban or rural.

Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

We may also offer free shipping when your order reaches a specified minimum spend. Any free shipping threshold will be clearly stated on our website and applied automatically at checkout where eligible.

3. Free Shipping

Free shipping may be available for qualifying orders based on the total order value.

  • The free shipping offer applies only when the minimum order value is met after any discounts are applied.

  • Free shipping may apply only to selected delivery areas, unless otherwise stated.

  • Rural delivery surcharges may still apply in some cases, depending on the courier and destination.

4. Order Processing Time

Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days, unless otherwise stated.

Orders are processed during normal business days only, excluding weekends, public holidays, and any notified closure periods.

During busy periods, promotional campaigns, or public holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.

5. Delivery Timeframes

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times will depend on your location and the courier company handling the shipment.

Estimated delivery timeframes are as follows:

  • Urban addresses: usually 1–3 business days

  • Rural addresses: usually 2–5 business days

These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including courier delays, weather events, peak delivery periods, or remote area servicing schedules.

6. Third-Party Couriers

We use third-party courier companies to deliver orders. Once your parcel has been dispatched, delivery is handled by the courier provider.

While we work closely with our courier partners to ensure reliable service, FoodMarket is not responsible for delays caused by courier operations, incorrect delivery information provided by the customer, weather conditions, or other events outside our reasonable control.

7. Delivery Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address and contact details entered at checkout are complete and accurate.

FoodMarket will not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery, additional shipping charges may apply for redelivery.

8. Authority to Leave

Where permitted by the courier, parcels may be left at the delivery address if it is considered safe to do so.

If you request or allow a parcel to be left without a signature, FoodMarket is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage after delivery has been recorded by the courier.

9. Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the tracking updates and contact the courier directly where appropriate for delivery-related queries.

10. Delays and Delivery Issues

Although we aim to ensure timely dispatch and delivery, delays can sometimes occur.

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time after dispatch, please contact us and we will do our best to assist in following up with the courier.

11. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

If your parcel arrives damaged, incomplete, or contains the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • clear photos of the parcel and item(s), where applicable

We will review the matter and work with you toward an appropriate resolution.

12. Undeliverable or Returned Parcels

If an order is returned to us because it was undeliverable, unclaimed, refused, or incorrectly addressed, we may contact you to arrange redelivery.

Additional shipping charges may apply before the order is resent.

13. Delivery of Food Products

As FoodMarket sells food products, customers should ensure parcels are collected promptly after delivery. We are not responsible for damage, spoilage, or quality issues arising from parcels left unattended for extended periods after confirmed delivery.

14. Public Holidays and Peak Periods

Delivery times may be longer during public holidays, major sale periods, and other high-demand times. We appreciate your patience during these periods.
